Shortbread.IR has a big dream and goal: publishing children’s stories written by aspiring writers from around the world. We believe that children deserve to read quality stories in different genres.
Shortbread.IR is run by an Iranian reader who has studied English literature at university. Your stories will be translated into Persian, and every 20-30 published pieces will be compiled and published as a book.
We do pay the writers, but you’ll have to wait until the book is published and sold. Then, we’ll pay your share every six months. And we’ll do our best to promote your stories and books published by other journals and publishers.
We’re doing this out of love and respect for children. We invite you to join us. Together, we can make our children’s lives more fun and purposeful.
